Broken words

Nelly leaves as Kelly wakes up.

Link holds her as tight as he can knowing it cant hurt her anymore.

She smiles as she snuggled against him.

"Kinda parched."

he gets her a glass of water

She takes it and drinks.

feeling better he holds her head and realizes she has a slight fever. (a natural side effect for newborns fever means blood thristy)

"What?"

"Yeah." She said as she stared at his neck.

go ahead i wont stop you until you tke too much. he pushes the vien out to make it easy for her.

She bites down gently.

she feels the skin break and the warm current washes over her throat and fills her with an elixer of unending life. each new drop feels better than the last and she feels better than she did on their date.

She tries to control herself.

the blood proves too powerful and he stops her after another minute.

She lays her head on his shoulder.

"Good."

"I liked it."

"It tasted good."
